Fairfield Warde High School’s Travel & Tourism Class Explores Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino with Warde DECA

Fairfield Warde High School’s Travel & Tourism class along with Warde DECA, recently visited Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino in Uncasville, CT. The students explored the secrets behind Mohegan Sun’s recognition as the No. 1 casino hotel in the nation, awarded by USA Today’s 2023 “10Best Readers’ Choice”.

During the visit, students engaged in discussions about exceptional customer service, discovering how Mohegan Sun embodies their “Spirit of Aquai Values” – Welcoming, Mutual Respect, Cooperation, and Building Relationships. These values serve as the foundation for the resort’s outstanding customer service and hospitality.

The students enjoyed an exclusive tour, including VIP entrances, top-tiered suites, and a backstage look at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Fairfield Warde extends gratitude to Mohegan Sun’s leadership team for generously sharing their insights and introducing students to the hospitality industry.
